It is finished

Was reminded the other day that the last words of Buddha were "Strive and never cease". But the last words of Jesus were "It is finished". Much better words from my Savior. It is finished. No work on my part for redemption, He took care of it all. The contrast is soothing and striking to my soul...striving versus finished. I rest in finished.
